The thing that always bothered me about “Day In The Life” sections is they always looked so planned and scripted. Like the camera guy comes in and “wakes the skater up,” they visit a couple cool spots, “accidentally” bump into all their homies, crack a beer, and fade to black.
So naturally (stupidly) for this segment, we did the total opposite. We figured we’d spend a couple of hours and hang out – whatever Keith was feeling that day, we would do it with him, whether that’s grabbing a drink, talking about girls, or grabbing another drink.
If you don’t know who Shredmaster Keith is, he’s that super stylish guy wearing some kind of animal print and a dangly earring who probably snaked you at LES Park. He grew up in the Bronx under some rocky circumstances but has found his unique flow and charm surviving in the streets and skateparks of the five boroughs.
Here’s a small glimpse of the time we spent with Keith skating New York’s LES park, harassing strangers at the seaport ledges, and enjoying some buttery-ass lobsters. This “Hanging Out With” comes with more skate clips than usual, so if you’ve never seen Shredmaster shred, it’s time to pop your cherry.

Dude is trying way too hard fuck this kid

Fuck you, dude actually looks like no one else on a skateboard. I’d rather watch this dude skate a skatepark than see Kyle Walker or Nyjah grind one more kink than the last rail

Alright, Keith.
Really tho, his skating was fine but he’s 18, you can’t blame him for “trying too hard” when he has cameras on him. Still, pretty obnoxious (most teenagers are).
Also, pretty funny how he advertised what deli he bought a beer at then shortly after declared his age. Nice editing. ;)
