We’ve been waiting for “Streets Is Talking” for a damn long time, and luckily, Ian decided to leak the intro of the video before it started to reach Detox style anticipation. You know the deal: For the past decade Ian Reid, skater, photographer and NYC Legend has been documenting all the daily hijinx that has been going down in Brooklyn and wherever his skateboard has taken him. “When it comes down to it, my video is just life. It’s just peoples lives that I’ve filmed.” As usual, we had the same questions as everyone else, so we talked with him briefly to get the details. Editing has been neglected for authenticity.
When was this footage shot?
the wonder years… and i never really put a date or a timeline on it..its just my life …
Why are you putting out the intro to the video all of a sudden?
so i put it out because basically i called in a favor from a guy who liked the video and he did his best to hook up the favor i asked of him. so as a thank you i put that trailer out for him and all the other people who have been waiting patiently to see it. Mr.Sagan Lockhart .. the people can thank you ..
When do we get to see the rest of this shit?
ah shit man.. like i said.. its so many issues man the fucking internet people turning into born again christians girls getting married and not wanting their husbands to know about all the fun they had with me and my friends.. so much shit.. but im really trying. i really am.. but anything thats good takes time.. i know its been a LONG ass time. but shit is a work of art to me.. and im still working..
thank you very much.. please enjoy the first 5 minutes of Streets Is Talking..
