Last summer we drove to the Domestics warehouse in New Jersey to do an interview with Fred Gall, but we blew it. Jenkem had only been around for 2 or 3 months up to that point, we had some lousy camera’s and did 0 preparation work for this “interview” we were supposed to conduct with Fred late on a Saturday night. Somehow we thought we would just go there and something magical would happen and it would all work out. Instead we got drunk and high and sat around and watched some Youtube videos and silkscreened a bunch of SCUM T-shirts.
Later in the night, I think Fred cued into our “unconventional” production style, and helped us out by giving us a little tour and explaining how the company started. Thankfully we ended up filming some skating, some silkscreening, and the whole thing started to come together.
Without further ado, enjoy our little interview / tour of the Domestics warehouse, a company owned by Fred Gall and Joe Dorsi. It’s not a traditional Jenkem interview, but at the end of the day, we had a pretty good time, got nice and drunk, and hell, we got a video feature out of it – so I’d say it was a success.
