You might be thinking, “What’s with the different sides of the video?” Originally, we received Big Kids as a single clip pushing 19 minutes in length, but we felt it split perfectly into two separate halves, each with their own unique feel and appeal. We suggested it to Otto and he was down to experiment. I honestly don’t know if it was a better move or not so feel free to tell us whether or not we blew it with that.
Side B opens up with classic hijinx between Otto’s friend Skyler and a hotheaded civilian, who for some reason felt the need to take security measures into his own hands. Lately I’ve been getting the feeling that #skatevideohijinx will be coming back strong in 2017. With skateboarding’s image being cleaned up thru the contest circuit and its looming debut at the Olympics in 2020, expect raw street hijinx Baker Bootleg style to be back on the rise.
Anyway, without further BS, enjoy the conclusion of Big Kids in the player above, and be on the lookout for some bonus goods coming in a few days time. If you missed Side A, make sure to check that out first here.
