We’ve been trying to be better about showcasing skating outside of our little NYC bubble. After ~10 years of documenting skating in New York, there are only so many ways we can film and repackage a day of skating around the city. So to broaden our horizons a bit, we asked our friends and affiliates about any scenes or crews they know of that aren’t getting proper shine.
Our friend Brett Dalzell, who has helped us with some design work in the past, put us in touch with Leo Bodelazzi and Sao Paolo’s CPTMAFIA.
The sheer size of their crew and strong sense of comradery reminded us of what made crews like Gang Corp or LurkNYC first stand out, so we hit them up to see if they wanted to do a profile type video to reach the masses beyond Brazil.
Give yourself that same sense of wanderlust by checking it out above, and be on the lookout for a new video from the crew premiering on the site tomorrow.

Cool video, but kind of wack to be promoting that behaviour when so many are suffering.
