Today, we’re celebrating the newest release on our little music label: Jenkem Recordings – No_4mat’s Console Mentality EP.

To build a little momentum around the release we had No_4mat pick some of his favorite lofi / electronic tracks from skate videos that have shaped his sound as a producer over the years and mix ’em together.

And so you aren’t just staring at a black screen while the 40 minute mix plays, we overlaid some footage from early Tampa Pro contests – courtesy of 411VM – for you to play in the “mellow” room of a party or sink into your couch to. Consider this mix dedicated to simpler times.

In an electronic artists that skate (or skaters that make electronic music) game of S.K.A.T.E. who would win? No_4Mat, AceMo, MoMa Ready, Ross from Friends, Mall Grab, or Coco Bryce? Anyone else we should throw in the game Jenkem?

  I haven’t seen Ross from Friends skate or Coco Bryce. Mall Grab has been skating a lot again since Pandemic (peep his Insta stories). Black Noi$e skates too.

    Ross and Coco skate a lot in their insta stories as well. Coco even put out a series of planks while ago!
