In my mind, Ben Gore is pretty much skateboarding’s quintessential underground killer. He’s never drawing too much attention to himself and letting his smooth skating and photos speak for themselves. Whether he’s filming with Josh Stewart, supporting France’s Magenta Skateboards as one of their few American riders, or leading skateboarding’s newest independent skate shoe company, it seems like Ben is always supporting things he truly believes in, and doesn’t do anything he can’t get 100% behind.
Without too much more internet praise, we proudly present Jenkem Mix 50 (seriously, 50!) – Ben Gore’s own mix of Soul, Reggae and a bunch of other artists and tracks we’ve never heard of – great for a rainy Sunday or a skate around the block just for the hell of it.
Check out his mix below, and download it here while you can.
More Mixes? Check out German Nieves, Lucas Puig, Aaron Herrington, Riley Hawk, Anthony Pappalardo, Jim Greco, John Cardiel, Alien Workshop, Brian Anderson, Baker, Bronze, Brad Cromer, Alex Olson, Sage Elsesser, THPS, Sean Pablo or Jesse Alba.

when I think of Ben, I am reminded of cats like Puleo. Always in the cut with lots of pop and style

Straight up thought you said “lots of poop and style.” Butt I bet Ben’s poops are super sick.

You can’t tell me that cowboys, when they’re branding cattle, don’t sort of ‘accidentally’ brand each other every once in a while. It’s their way of letting off stress.

We must determine whether we really want freedom–whether we are willing to dare the perils of…rebirth… For we never take a step forward without surrendering something that we may have held dear, without dying to that which has been.
